Hair cloning, that is meant for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (common genetic hair loss), is still being researched by physicians as a hair loss treatment. It is being called The 2012 Trend for hair loss treatments and solutions.
In hair cloning, a sample of the hair follicle cells are multiplied outside the body, known as in vitro, and then they are re-implanted into the scalp with the hope that they will grow new hair follicles and will be permanent.
What is amazing and particularly interesting about hair cloning is, if it is done correctly, it has the potential to be a cure for hair loss. The term ‘hair cloning’ is a basic term to describe a labratory solution to cure hair loss.
From the press release:
The idea of cloning the hair is founded on the actual findings that the two kinds of come tissue that induce locks to cultivate may be cloned, with the results of the combination associated with both inserted in to the scalp. The process is likely to result in regular growth of locks. Both forms of stem tissues that induce hair regrowth are located in the bulge region near the area of the sebaceous glands as well as in the actual skin papilla at the base of the head of hair.
Once this method is perfected, the benefits are countless:
The hair is yours and therefore it will gain the same properties as the rest of your hair and wouldn’t look different. It wouldn’t be rejected by your body as it includes your own genetic markers.
It is expected that once on the mainstream, the cost for the whole operation would be considerably lower than traditional hair transplants since there is no need for a big team of surgeons to perform the operation.
Maybe most importantly, you can have all the hair you can dream of, as there is no limit of newly cloned donor hair. Even better, as you get the hair density just right, with one procedure and you know it will look natural or better.
