At the age of fifteen, Dr Kahen was one of the youngest in his class to graduate from high school. His medical career started after he graduated from UCLA and attended Ross University School of Medicine. In his early days in medical school, he discovered that surgery is his passion. 

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Kahen pursued his medical training in the field of general surgery at affiliated hospitals of New York University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His training is extensive in transplant surgery, cosmetic, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.

It was a combination of his passion and personal experience with hair restoration surgery that encouraged Dr. Kahen to pursue this field. He is an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.  Superior natural results and many happy patients regularly bring referrals to his practice.

Although hair restoration surgery is a minimally invasive procedure, it requires vast surgical skills. It is recommended to do plenty of research on your physician to make sure they have previous surgical training.
